City of Stamford Hosts 17th Annual Family Day this Saturday, May 20

STAMFORD, CT – The City of Stamford’s 17th Annual Family Day will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Yerwood Center, 90 Fairfield Avenue. The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Family Day is designed to provide a fun-filled day of activities including food and music, as well as information on programs and services offered by the City of Stamford and community groups.

Stamford’s Emergency Medical Services and Police will be in attendance offering attendees a hands-on demonstration of how ambulance and police equipment work. Stamford’s Fire Department will also be giving tours of fire trucks, as well as demonstrating fire safety programs such as “Smoke Detector Installation” and “Stop, Drop, and Roll.”

In addition, there will be fun activities like pony rides, face painting, and a petting zoo.
