STAMFORD, CT - Stamford resident Bill Hennessey will chair the 18th Annual SilverSource Charity Golf Outing, to be held on Monday, June 11 at Rockrimmon Country Club.

A long-time SilverSource supporter and an active player, Bill and his wife, Jevera, were the 2014 SilverSource tournament honorees. This year, the event will recognize First County Bank, its Foundation and Chairman and CEO, Reyno A. Giallongo, Jr.

“It’s a wonderful honor to be chairing this committee,” Hennessey said. “Our community is fortunate to have this organization to look after seniors that need help. The demand for the services SilverSource provides is growing, and I encourage everyone to support this event.”

Additional members of the committee include Ernest N. Abate, Esq., Jerry Berkman, Ellen Bromley, Robert Goldstein, John J. Louizos, Esq., Michael Mezzapelle, Kate Mulvany and John Schule.

The tournament is a major annual fundraiser for SilverSource, with all proceeds supporting the SilverSource Elderly Housing Stability Program, elder eviction protection and the Ride To Wellness Medical Transportation Program. Last year the event raised over $90,000 for our older neighbors in need.

Bill Hennessey is a partner at the law firm of Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP, and has practiced in Stamford for over 30 years in the fields of real estate and land use.

Tickets are now on sale. Golfers will enjoy a fun day of world-class golf and receive a complimentary pre-tournament brunch, unlimited beverages, a post-tournament reception, a seated dinner and opportunities to win exciting prizes. Non-golfers may attend the post-tournament reception and dinner. Visit https://silversource.org/golf/ for details and registration.
